Not to sound to gay but...i want a tattoo with my 4 best friends (more like Brothers to me) incorporated.....I am also looking at getting a Celtic cross and a shamrock design done....idk if i could have them in there somehow.....but if not im also just looking for some good ides on how to get there names as a tattoo. you're right you sound gay. dont u think you should get something that is timeless. im not telling you your friends are not forever but it sounds so silly. tatoos are permanent so make sure you get something you will love forever(again, it can be your buddies' names but think of something else)

looks sick! I’m getting one in a year and a half above my heart.
Go back to the same artist and voice you concerns, you can't exactly ask for your money back because the ink is in your skin and will most likely stay there for a very long time, till like death.
95% of artists are more than happy to touch up their work and ask for nothing in return. A tattoo artist who knows he screwed up will be more than happy to help you out. I would though, wait for the swelling to go down and it to heal properly, as I am sure he/she will tell you too, they can't do anything without the initial tattoo being healed.
Sorry you got hit by a scratcher man, good Celtic is hard though and you always have the option to shop around and see what and who you like. If you decide to go with someone else in the future, research their work and see if they have done the style you are looking for, if not move on. My girlfriend has a random knotwork tree on her back, and is over 15 hours into it, 12 of that just to get the initial shape on.
You might also think about a background sleeve in order to help even things out, in that case have the original drawing ready and see what the artist comes up with to complement it.
